CARSHARING: GEO-FENCES FOR VEHICLE RETURN

For vehicles equipped with a Car Sharing Kit, the return location can be provided with a GEO fence. This means that the vehicle can only be returned if a vehicle is at a certain distance from the specified return location. You also have the option to return a vehicle within this radius only, for example to specify specific parking spaces with electronic charging stations. This function will soon be part of the fleetster Enterprise License.

With this release, we decided to standardise all the login popups. They used to have multiple, diverse styles, but now they'll look consistent and should bring a better experience especially for new users.

Previously if you were logged in to our application, put the application on the background and you went to a place without internet connection we would log you out. Now we remember your unique ID and keep you logged in even without an internet connection.

Return booking when the engine is on and the keys are inside

Some issues with keyless-go vehicles were reported because, in some cases, the vehicle requires the driver to click the ignition-button twice in order to shut down all car systems. If it was clicked only once the driver received an error that the engine was still on and that the booking cannot be returned.

If a user tries to return a booking and systems says that the engine is on even though the keys are in the cardholder, the user can finish the booking anyway.
